As a School Mompesson strive to live by their motto: “We are motivated and work together to achieve the very best we can. We rise to the challenge and through resilience and teamwork we achieve our goals and dreams.” Mompesson have worked hard to develop a positive school ethos, working towards building our community, improving learning and raising our aspirations. Pupils in Mompesson are developing a real sense of identity, embracing the opportunities of living and learning in a new Academy. Last year Mompesson year 11 really showed the younger year groups the value of commitment to learning through the GCSE results achieved, and they have given the current year 11s clear goals to aim for. Year 11 have started their year with a range of C+ grades already gained, and the data suggests they are well on their way to achieving 50% A*-C including English and Maths, and 70% A*-C. This positive start is reflected also in a strong start for the majority with regards to attendance, and Mompesson sitting at the top of the Praise Token scores. |
