The Academy is organised into five schools. Each school has its own unique identity. Each Head of School works closely with the School Pastoral Manager, they work together to ensure that each pupil is supported on every level to help them reach their full potential and flourish during their time at Sarum Academy.

Pupils enter the Academy in Year 7 where the spend their first year with their teacher for tutor time and the Competency curriculum. Each Year 7 class belongs to a school. Pupils in Years 8 – 11 are arranged in vertical tutor groups within the Schools. 6^th Form have separate School tutor groups. Parents first point of contact should be through the tutor.
