My name is Debbie Rock and I am the Extended Services Manager for Sarum Academy. My role is a very varied one. I am responsible for the letting of our premises, including the Sports Centre, and for the school newsletter, Sarum News. I am involved in many areas across the Academy such as Fairtrade, International Schools status, Arts exhibitions, community projects, family learning, pupil welfare (in its broadest sense rather than at an individual level), youth voice, community coffee mornings, adult education and many one off projects which support and enhance the learning of our pupils. Twice a year I organise a Community Information Fair which is free to both participants and visitors. Here the Sarum Academy and wider community can obtain information and advice about a huge range of organisations, activities and events such as housing, debt management, volunteering opportunities, career and employment opportunities, adult and further education, hobbies and interests for all ages, parenting advice, support agencies and much more. This is a fun and informative event open to everyone. Details of our next event can be found on the website.

So if you are interested in finding out more about what’s on offer, would like to make suggestions about activities or learning opportunities you would like to see take place here at the Academy or are interested in hiring our premises for a regular or one off activity call the Extended Services Office on 01722 342431. And you are always welcome to join us at one of our Community Coffee Mornings, details of which can be found on the website.
