| Years 7-11
MAIN KIT
- Purple embroidered Sarum Academy polo shirt*
- Plain navy blue v-necked sweatshirt with embroidered Sarum Academy logo*
- Boys – Navy blue trousers (plain fabric – uniform style -not denim, cords or jeans style).
- Girls - Navy blue trousers/skirt (plain fabric – uniform style - not denim or jeans style). or Navy blue skirt (regulation style only)*
- Optional outdoor fleece in navy blue, full zip, with embroidered Sarum Academy logo*
- Dark blue or black winter coat – no extreme fashion styles or logos.
Skirts must be regulation style available only through Sarum Academy suppliers Skooolkit. NO other skirts are acceptable.
Trousers should not be excessively flared, split at the side hem, be tight-fitting or hipsters. In order to conform to religious requirements, girls may wear a plain navy blue headscarf.
General
- Navy blue or black socks or navy blue or black tights.
- Sensible plain black leather low-heeled shoes (no trainers, trainer like shoes or boots).
- No jewellery with the exception if necessary of one pair of small plain stud earrings.
- There should be no other visible body piercing.
- Hair styles must be neat and tidy and natural coloured.
- Make-up should not be noticeable.
PE KIT
Summer

Years 12 and 13
A dress code appropriate to a professional and academic working environment is required and should reflect the beginning of a transition to adult working life.
Boys are required to wear either polo shirts with a collar or a shirt and tie with smart trousers or smart jeans. Girls should dress modestly and appropriately. Skirts, if worn, should not be excessively short. Leggings may be worn only under skirts, not a substitute for trousers.
Sun tops, shorts, beach wear, flip flop style sandals and sportswear will not be allowed. Make up and jewellery is allowed provided it is not extreme or excessive.
ITEMS OF VALUE (expensive mobile phones, jewellery, walkmans, significant amounts of money, etc.) should not be brought into the Academy.
Sarum Academy cannot accept liability for loss of valuables brought in to the Academy and such items will be confiscated during the school day for safe keeping. Pupils are allowed to have mobile phones for use to and from school in the event of an emergency and when required as a learning tool in the classroom. Improper use of any kind will result in them being confiscated.

Skoolkit require all manufacturers of their own label products and branded products abroad and in the UK to operate an ethical employment and trading policy specifically stating that no prison or child labour is used in the manufacturing process and that suppliers adhere to the laws of the country relating to hours and conditions of work. All dyed garments are tested by an independent laboratory to Okitex standards to prevent the use of toxic or harmful chemicals, underlining their commitment to reduce the effect on the environment of their production processes.
Other items may be purchased through Skoolkit or other high street chain stores but must comply with the details given in this Academy Kit list. Parents are encouraged whenever possible to purchase ethical and fair trade products and a list of current suppliers is available on request from the Academy.
